My question is should I try Windows Repair first (I have the pro version), or do a reset of Win 10 with keep files, or try to restore from backup again? With each method, it seems I have do a bit of fixing afterward, sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's a real pain. (running Windows 10) Seems ever since installing Win 10 each boot, or reboot offers up a new surprise, but that's another story. Now the OS is sluggish, shutdown takes five minutes or more and I occasionally get the "Something went wrong." screen. After what I believe was a virus, I did a simple system restore from backup.
